Whether you have been in business for a year or 5 years I can almost bet that your goals and outcomes have changed since you first started. I’m sure in everything we have learned and the experience we have gained we most definitely have a different idea of what is possible for our business. But the one thing that hasn’t changed is the way that we do are doing things in our business in terms of operation.

In today’s post, we are diving into one of the reasons why you might be afraid to hire and build a team for your business and how it can have a lot to do with not fully understanding what might be involved for you to hit that next level in your business.

As time goes on and we move forward in business, we pivot, shift, and adapt to the changing times but more importantly, we shift to new goals and expectations for our companies. However, we tend to continue to operate and do things the same way we did them back when we were first starting out. Doing everything ourselves, not asking for help, and bootstrapping things together with duct tape.

Let me ask you this…..are any of you working towards the same goal you had when you first started your business? I hope that you all answer NO to this question.

But I will go out on a limb and bet that this is a big reason you either aren’t growing your team, aren’t hiring the support you need, or haven’t moved forward to achieving those big goals. Our visions and possibilities for our business have grown exponentially yet our natural instincts are to continue to do things in the same comfortable way. We think that we can get to the next stage the same way we got to where we are today, but this is just not the case.

We need to shift this perspective and open the door to the possibilities that can come when you bring on support for your team. We need to be doing things differently if we want different outcomes.

So I want you to start thinking about those big vision goals and jotting down what you think it would take to make them happen. Think about the support you will need to achieve your biggest dreams cause no one is handing out gold stars when you do everything on your own.
